The Suns Shinning Down On Me

well it was another week on the beach in the beautiful sunshine on La Jolla Shores. I had such a fun exhausting week I was working the La Jolla Surf Camps this week for Surf Diva ages 5-10 the cutest little surfers ever. It was such a fun time the kids were so adorable some of them were frightened of waves but by friday were catching some great waves and everyone was standing up on their boards showing off some fun tricks that they had learned. I don't of a job that I have ever enjoyed more than working surf lessons seeing kids getting the surf stoke so young was so much fun I went home every night with a huge smile on my face. I decided to take it easy this weekend and just chill but the fun starts again on monday as I will be working another week of surf camps!!!!

Classic Movie Cafe

Well as you know its been a while since I have done a classic movie recommendation so here is one that is a fun cheesy surf flick which I am recommending in honor of the summer and my recent trip to Hawaii!
Ride The Wild Surf 1964
Shoot the curl and get tubular with this vintage surfing flick that includes a cast of cut-ups such as Fabian, Tab Hunter, Shelly Fabares, Barbara Eden and Jim Mitchum. Highlights include the ubiquitous clambake (on the beach, of course) and a wild surf contest to see who rules the waves. Directed by Don Taylor, this comedy includes some campy, wave-riding close-ups with the stars looking like the Wallendas tiptoeing on a high wire. Radical!
You can view the entire film here.

A tale of adventuring with Tim and Melina

Alright I know its been way too long but its taken me a while to get back into the swing of things since I have been home I flew in Tuesday morning and so much has happened since then.

Well two weeks ago Tim and I headed out for a hawaiian island vacation that was much needed for both of us especially Tim who had been studying like crazy for his certification exam. (which by the way he passed!!!! yay Tim thanks for the prayers). Our journey began on the beautiful Island of Kauai
