HAHA oh the calories

I was at starbucks this morning! In front of me a woman who I'm assuming is a regular ordered her nonfat drink and then got a pastry the checker asked her why she no longer got the zucchini muffin she usually gets and the woman said I didn't realize it had so many calories! I wanted to laugh out loud, now that starbucks has the calorie count on their food you get an idea exactly what you are putting in your mouth, and are not deceived by the sound of a something being low in calories I'm sure that woman thought she was eating the healthiest thing on the menu. It is important to remember that if you are looking at just the calories of an item you are really missing the more important thing what is the nutrients if you have something low in calories but has zero vitamins nutrients or fiber well you really aren't doing yourself a favor check the calories but when making the decision ask your self is this nutritious will this give me some of the vitamins my body needs and have that make your decision. Because your metabolism does need fuel to work!

Thing's have gotten out of control

If you have not heard from me in a while, it's because I have too much on my plate right now! I am going to try to reorganize things and get organized tomorrow so maybe by friday I will catch up on blogging! Only because I love sharing what's going on with me, with all of you who I love and miss! As of right now these are the things I am juggling that are starting to wear on me as we speak.
1. Praise the Lord I found a man that wants to marry me haha so I've been attempting to plan a wedding. (trying to buy into the idea that this is fun don't know that i'm convinced)
2. Woohoo I was able to get into all the final prerequisite classes I needed! (ill fill you in, so in order to be accepted into my grad program I agreed to finish the prerequisite requirements in the first year in order to continue taking my grad school classes, all I had left was 1 psychology class and 1 studio art class left thought I could spread it out unfortunately due to overcrowded community colleges I was waitlisted for both fall and spring finally got accepted the day the classes started!!!! talk about stress! at least I'm in)
3. In addition to the two community college classes I am taking I am also registered for 5 graduate school classes which is 12 units (this may not seem like alot for undergrad but for grad school this is like instant suicide)
4. Attempting to apply for some kind of internship practicum for next year (this should be number one on the list I need to find a really great place to fullfill 750 hours of practicum for next year)
5. Looking for and volunteering at some place to complete the 30hours of field work necessary to sign up for practicum.

Only 5 things on the list but my eye is twitching as we speak. Pray that I survive this semester!!! and spring and summer. For all of you who read this and think that I am ridiculous and crazy I will agree with you! currently considering dropping one of my grad school courses to lighten my load some. Also my wonderful amazing fiance has been a huge help to me with all of the wedding planning thank you Tim!
