So here is a glimpse of what my days will look like from here on out sad times for a southern california girl.
But have no fear I have my cozy socks ready to cozy up and keep my feet warm.

Classic Movie Cafe

Happy Birthday Rita Hayworth !!!!
I just wanted to make a quick post because today is Rita Hayworth's Birthday she is one of my favorites cause she is just gorgeous you can read more about her on one of my older posts but in honor of today I will make two Rita Hayworth recommendations.

COVER GIRL 1944
Rita Hayworth vamps it up as Rusty Parker, a Brooklyn dancer longing to see her name in Broadway lights in this Academy Award-winning musical featuring the tunes of Jerome Kern and George Gershwin. Her dream of stardom finally comes true when she lands the cover of a magazine through a contest. On the way to the top, she nabs the attention of lots of rich and powerful men, but is her best friend, Danny McGuire (Gene Kelly), her true love?
GILDA 1946
Curvy bombshell Rita Hayworth "Puts the Blame on Mame" in this South American thriller that became her biggest hit and forever linked the stunning actress to the specter of her most popular character. Hayworth, Glenn Ford and George Macready comprise the three sides of a steamy love triangle that threatens to destroy Macready's thriving casino and wreck all of their lives. Hayworth's sinuous vamp of the aforementioned tune is a classic moment.

Happy Friday!!!

Well I hope you all have a Happy Friday and enjoy your weekend! Ill be studying hard this weekend but taking a study break on Sunday to visit the Half Moon Bay Art and Pumpkin Festival, can't wait. I will also be enjoying my new pumpkin patch candle from Bath and Body Works, Love those Autumn scents, thank's Mom and Nana for sending me some extra cash! Have a wonderful weekend.

Classic Movie Cafe

So I haven't recommended a classic movie in a while and I can't help but recommend this one only because I absolutely love the Halloween Scene where the two youngest sister's go playing tricks on people and help out with a neighborhood bonfire. This movies is a year round favorite of mine simply because it is a simple story of a tight nit family living life together right before the big 1904 world's fair held in St. Louis. Judy Garland stars as Esther Williams who just can't help falling for "the boy next door". Memorable characters and charming songs, which include "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and "The Trolley Song," make this one of the greatest American musicals ever lensed.

A Beautiful Mind

So I have been learning so much in my classes and specifically I have been learning in my psychopathology class how wonderful the mind is and how scary it can be to lose control of the mind. We have been studying dementia, schizophrenia, psychotic disorders, etc. One of the things I have learned that kind of scared me is that Alzheimer's is the 4th leading cause of death in the United States. Can you believe that!! I decided that I'm going to forever be a student I always want to have something to exercise my mind. Why not? I mean we all try to exercise our bodies and eat right why not take care of our minds too. So here are 3 types of classes I'm going to take once I'm done with graduate school.
1 Cooking Class
thats right I want to learn the science of cooking great food, not just how to follow recipes.

2. Glass Blowing Classes
A little bit on the dangerous side but I have always been so fascinated by glass blowing I would love to be able to make these beautiful creations.

3. Aerial Circus Classes
Yes this might be my first class I want to increase flexibility and strength what way would be more fun than by learning how to fly on a trapeze or hang upside down on a silk chord.
