It's also been a while since I have made any san diego recommendations. My recommendation for today is Newbreak Cafe in OB. I loved this coffee shop when I lived in OB, I would ride my bike there often to read and it's the perfect place to go and study I used to go there at 6am when I was in my Undergrad program at Point Loma, I was always a morning studier. Anyways they have a wide variety of tea that you can mix and match they have a wall full of jars of different tea flavors that you just grab and take to the counter for some yummy tea. They also have great hotchocolate and in the winter they have a cozy little fire going.
