Feeling Accomplished

I am so excited I received an A+ on my Psychopathology midterm. I can't even tell you how excited I was or shocked even, that class is one of my most challenging so I feel like the early mornings at Starbucks has really paid off! I think I feel so good about it because it is my first midterm since undergrad and that was two years ago. So I'm really liking graduate school!

Beautifully Carved Pumpkins

I haven't carved a pumpkin yet this year, I might do it tomorrow night last year I got carried away and carved an owl and a moon. This year I am tempted to do something similar to these beautifully carved pumpkins from design's sponge blog you can see the directions for how to do these on that blog. Due to my busy schedule and lack of resources I think I might just keep it simple and stick with your typical jack-o-lantern spooky face. But aren't these beautiful.

A Good Morning

What is a good morning to this Graduate Student. An early morning at the coffee shop where I am sipping on some hot tea while getting a jumpstart on my homework! I always feel accomplished and energized when I do something other than rush through getting ready in the morning and dash out the door just in time to rush to work. All that rushing makes me sick. So I'm happy to say that this is a Great Morning! for me sitting at the coffee shop as we speak enjoying a leisurely cup of tea plenty of time before I need to be at work.

Rain Rain Go Away Come Again Another Day

Will the rain ever stop to all my San Diegan's that I love and miss enjoy the sunshine for me because it's raining cats and dogs up here. I am going to have to invest in some rain boots cause my socks are sopping wet booo.

San francisco Fun Thing To Do

Well I'm trying to get myself out there more in the Bay area, today I went to enjoy the festivities of an Oktoberfest near where I live I was able to sample the local breweries which weren't bad it was a good time I was able to hang out with two girls from school which made me feel a little more sane overall a good saturday!

San Francisco Fun Thing To Do

So I found out about a really fun thing to do in San Francisco it's called Night Life and it's at the Academy of Science museums. Every Thursday night they have the museums open for 21 and up the cost is $12 which is alot cheaper than the day admission and they serve cocktails and have a number of pretty cool exhibits as well as star gazing if the weather is good. Tim and I went with some of his co-workers last night it was alot of fun.
